Your approved senders list is not the same as your Address book. You can use both your approved senders list and your Address book to keep track of known senders, but you may want to reserve your Address book for the e-mail addresses of people you write to, such as friends and family.

You can use your approved senders list from people or companies you receive e-mail from but don't write to, such as organizations that send you newsletters.
